After researching multiple aspects of ancient Egypt, like art, fashion, architecture, and furniture, I have determined that my concept will be an emerald because it is the most prevalent jewel in ancient Egyptian fashion so it will connect with the historical context more. Also, the Jenkins are a happy couple who will need a home that will not only allow them to live comfortably for the rest of their lives but allow them to live comfortably together. The emerald is called the “Stone of Successful Love” and its soothing energy brings freshness and vitality to the spirit. By incorporating the elements of an emerald into the design, I can strengthen their health and longevity as individuals and a loving couple.
